Door open warning light and alarm activating by Bermudan 75

Hi folks,
I have the warning light for the nearside rear passenger door illuminateing when it is definitely closed, in addition the courtesy light just switches on and the alarm/indicaters flash with alarm on the IPK (Instrument pack (IPK from the German)) display?

Any clues anyone? Would a battery reset work?

Most likely a fault with the door latch, though it could be water in the connectors, or a chafed wire. My Green V6 does this on the front passenger door, when it's cold.

Closed the offending door quite firmly and the problem has stopped. Might have a go at checking the latch out, is there any info on how to do this anywhere? Prevention better than cure.

Trouble is, you can't do anything with the latch other than swap it out.
