[QUOTE=StewartIngram;2960900]Agreed on replacing the screws with scrivets! Done that; I've alo made a cover over the LSM (Light Switch Module), built from plasticard. Totally out of normal sight, it should divert any water leak should one ever occur.

Hi Stewart.
Yes i did mine back in 2020 a few photos below so others know what we are talking about.
Panel below the steering column two screws to remove.

1

2
Then you can pull off the panel a few clips at the top are just holding it on.

3

4
With the panel removed you will see a screw at the bottom of the (
LSM) light switch module, remove this.

5

6
With that screw removed you then need to remove the two at the top of the
LSM.

7

8
The
LSM module can now be pulled forward.

9
You then remove the screw retaining clips.

10

11
Also the one at the bottom.

12
With those removed you replace them with the female part of the scrivet.

13

14
Bottom one.

15

16
Offer the
LSM back to the car this time using the male part of the scrivet.

17

18
Now do the same with the panel replace the fixing with scrivets.

19

20

21

22

23
You can use the screws that were originally used or use some stainless steel ones with a larger head.

24

25
The panel should now be able to just pull out of the scrivet with out using a screw driver in panic mode

I will post up how i did or intend to put a cover over the top of the
LSM at a later date, unless Stewart has some photo to post of how he did his.
