Windscreen wax residue by Bermudan 75

Back in 2009 when I purchased my car I used a drive through car wash. In certain light conditions I can see the residue of the 'liquid hot wax' that was applied.
Does anyone have any suggestions upon how to remove the residue? Normal washing does not work so should I be thinking of using a cutting compound?

Cheers

All purpose cleaner Mike. Something like Daisy kitchen cleaner will do the job and some elbow grease.

APC will leave it's own residue, easily removed with a proprietary glass cleaner or simply polish it off with a suitable cloth.
