Are police drivers now going to think twice before chasing a vehicle?

Why did it take the jury 2 hours to find him not guilty.

Another case where this country and the CPS are going down. Sits there with Raistlins case whereby his Bench asked the cPS to reconsider.

I agree. In all situations like this there is always supervisors in the control rooms who will abort chases if the risks are deemed to high.

Good to see common sense finally prevailing with the result of not guilty.

Probably because he lost his teddy bear when his was four years old and has never got over the trauma which has severly affected him.

Plus locking him up would affect his human rights

Sadly, I read that and whilst there will be some rotten apples in the police barrel those that are trying to do a good job must get very demoralised.

The police have said that whilst not admitting they did anything wrong it is cheaper to give him a wedge of cash. Even the thickest of people can follow the logic of trying something on and getting some money.
