Is there any reason, that a tow hitch cannot be welded to the tow eye to use for reversing a small trailer into a driveway, using the front bumper hole where the eye fits and not the rear as have towbar, as not very easy to reverse it in, there is a company which makes front hitches but with fitting it you are looking at a lot of money and I would only use it 3 or 4 times a year car is tourer diesel auto

Well it will take the weight of a car being towed, so there should be no problems at maneouvring speed.

Of course it's off centre, and screws in, so not ideal for a trailer, but can't think of any obvious issues.
