Any plumbers out there? (or Dave )

One of our thermostatic radiator valves seems to have stuck open so it is producing max heat whatever the setting.

Is there a way of sorting it out please, other than having it replaced?

Thanks
Paul

Thanks Andy. It doesn't show how to get the plastic cap off though. Last time I attempted to pull on off the whole valve came off the pipe :(

Depends on the type of TRV ( Thermostatic radiator valve )most trv's screw on with a large knurled nut. Good video of the problem though :)

Would that be a plastic nut under the TRV cap Dave?

Yup, you can remove it without draining the system as it is just a screw on top ;)
