Just wanted to say many thanks to all the folks who have supported my endeavours in getting the clutch fixed. I have to say this is the biggest job I have ever attempted on any car so having the Community to hold my hand was much appreciated. Special thanks to Duncan for repeatedly coming to my rescue with sound words of advice and suggestions.

The car is now finished and after a shake-down run I am more than happy with the results! The rear disks will need looking at...they had seized on during her unfortunate incarceration on my driveway, but barring that, all is very good. The clutch is amazingly light...and now makes the V8 feel like the monster it is by comparison.. The gear box is much better for the correct fluid in it and the coolant system is now leak-free, plus I have working VIS (Variable Intake System) motors and correctly fitted front disks all nicely freed up and with repainted calipers. And boy am I relieved that is done! :D

"My lovely car now sold onto a very happy new owner.
I still love this marque and I will still be around, preferred selling to breaking, as a great runner and performer"

Not a bad cost when you consider what it would cost to have done.

Too many are scrapped because of it.
