Does anyone know how to open a boot from inside a 2004 Rover 75 Cdti, think the lock has failed????
If it's a Mk1 this will help.

I did my ZT a while ago when I locked my single key.. ooer!! in the boot..
But Got 2 keys now ..
But the wiggling a wire to make some sort of electrical contact .. isn't correct , and possibly rather dangerous ?.
So the PDF is mostly correct , But ...
Rather you would use a long Thin screw driver to get inside and move the locking rod mechanically to unlock the boot .
Not risk lots of sparks by blinding flailing about with a bit of wire..ooer!! well actually I think the contacts are all insulated anyway ..
