It'll be interesting to see whether the papers can resist attempting to affect the outcome of the case and / or going for the jugular of the CPS and the police in revenge when she goes down... :)

Version A - would they be at a great risk of contempt of curt if they tried that.

Version B - would there be a danger of legislation controlling the press - or the police doing their job more thoroughly.

Version A - Has that stopped them in the past?

Version B - The press might decide to do their job more thoroughly too and start pulling skeletons out of the Police force cupboard which previously they had been saving for a rainy day..
