I need to load Office 2010 onto my notebook but the disc is a DVD and my external CD drive is just that, a CD drive, how can I load theOffice dvd disc to my notebook?

Would copying the data on to a pendrive work? Or uploading to "cloud" storage? Or, if you don't have any way to get the DVD info off, can you borrow an external drive?

(or is there perhaps some other way to access the data needed, perhaps online, but simply use your product code?)

I think you can download it from Microsoft and simply use your key. The trials tend to be full versions restricted by key code, well they use to.

Can you load it by connecting the lappy to a network and using the DVD drive of another connected PC?

If not, I have a portable DVD drive Mike.
