In the past month I have done many many motorway miles. To alleviate the excitement I have been observing the mile markers at the side of the road. However, when you compare these with the odometer the markers are clearly not in miles but in kilometres.
I have seen nothing to indicate that in our travelling that miles have been dropped.

PS I do see advantages in the Continental system but just do not like things being slipped in.
