Tim has just had a look at the car,and it looks like the master cylinder has developed a leak, the resevoir is not holding the fluid, any idea if it can be sorted without paying lots of money, if not where is the cheapest place to buy one, thanks

The fluid will most likely be leaking out the slave cylinder unless you have fluid in the footwell... if so it'll be slave and clutch and if possible a new master as well....not cheap unfortunately..

I have to agree, I'm afraid. Even if it's not the slave, then it's likely to go soon after. It's always best to do master and slave together. When they wear out they get are contaminated with greu sludge, that I think is from where it's worn. So if you fit one new part, it gets filled with muck from the other old one.

And unfortunately as Zeb says its not cheap. E car parts from Sandy usually have OE parts at a good price. I've heard of somepeople using other parts that haven't lasted long.
