Main beam upgrade by raistlin

VeeKay has OEM xenon headlights fitted and they are very good but, the main beams look positively jaded in comparison.

Can anybody recommend a better alternative for the main beams please?

Osram nightbreakers look whiter, and give better light. At least they do in the 45. However I have to say one of the pair I fitted lasted less than twelve months. That may be due to vibration in the lamps, rather than a fault of the bulbs though, as it's the same one that failed days after I bought the car.

Sorry, yes, they were nightbtreaker pluses. Probably going to try them in Marmite the Roomster, too.

Reasonable price now too. (H7 is main isn't it? Can't recall and it's too cold and wet to go out to garage)

Mine were fitted a year ago at your place, in the middle of a huge plate of sandwiches by the pianist fingered 'Dave the Monk' and excellent they are too. Bulbs that is, the sandwiches were even better!

Hiya. Are these Nightbreaker bulbs zenon or halogen? I don't think mine are zenon on my 75 03 connie. Tia. Mel.

Absolutely, Mel. The numpties are the people who I ordered two sets of bulbs from and sent one set. Certainly not you!
