M54 J2 Eastbound by sewerman

Just a quick heads up for those that use the M54 - junction 2 has changed you now leave the motorway before the bridge, slightly earlier than before you used to, and go up and over the access to the i54. just a watch out as the signage is very poor and you might miss it.

Yep,

Nearly caught me out yesterday :(

That i54 site is nothing but a pain in the neck for anybody living nearby :(

Absolutely now queses back to the Tuns Island every morning, used to be the BP station on a bad day !

The signing of the change is awful though

Precisely my experience as well. And the same coming the other way early evening.

I'm at Ashfield Road, just by the Harrowby and I've just read in the paper that they're closing off the entrance from Wobaston Road again as well :(

Dont go that way often but cant figure out why their only building half a dual carriage way to the i54 entrance?

To add insult to injury, it was in the local paper that, once open, it will be monitored by CCTV and any cars using it would be liable to a 60 penalty. Curiously, this does not apply to cycles or motor-cycles :(

Was it not local tax payers who partially funded the new road?
