Copy and paste the following equation into Google search ;)

sqrt(cos(x))*cos(300x)+sqrt(abs(x))-0.7)*(4-x*x)^0.01, sqrt(6-x^2), -sqrt(6-x^2) from -4.5 to 4.5

See it now. IE9 is OK. But why does it affect the results of a google search?

It's one of Googles "Easter Eggs". There are/were a few around, I forget them all now but one involved gravity and to "see" it you had to type in a phrase about gravity and click "I'm feeling lucky" on Googles search page. I'm sure a quick search of the internet will trawl up some other goodies.
