IPK bulb failure info by Bermudan 75

On the IPK (Instrument pack (IPK from the German)) display that indicates where a lamp has failed, do both number plate lamps have to fail for this to display? A brake light failed over the weekend and the IPK showed this, but one of the number plate lamps has failed and the IPK does not show a failure.

Yes, both have to fail iirc
