Watched the first commercial take off from Heathrow.

Flown in one.

Got a (small) piece of one

Was distraught when they were withdrawn.

I even use it as a vehicle when lecturing aerodynamics. In my view, anybody that has even a rudimentary knowledge of aeronautical engineering and aerodynamics can't help but hold this beast in awe.

I do hope it all comes true :-D

Like the way that BA has said 'can't have one of ours'.....they are not yours, they are ours we the taxpayers

Where I lived until 2001 was on the Heathrow flight path and I watched it go over every evening. Absolutely beautiful, no wonder the Yanks wanted to ban it.

There was a long and detailed page on the Brooklands website as to why it was almost certain that Concorde would never fly again - I can't find it at the moment though, look like it has been moved/deleted.

Hope they do get it going again!

And they have something in common with our V6s. A Variable Intake System (VIS (Variable Intake System)). However one failed once, not all of them all of the time.
