I think the owner of the website is one one or more of the fora but not sure which.

Has anybody tried this MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor) sensor please? Anybody know anything about it?

Not tried this one they do sell the Genuine article to.
I tend to stick to Bosch ones Paul.
Seem to cause less problems and more reliable.
Use to say that with the Pierburg alternatives but they have gone right down hill IMHO.

Genuine Bosch air flow sensor meters, have a part number which is MHK 101130, Rover's part number, for the same unit is
0928-400-520. The box which this M.A.F. comes in should have both part numbers on it. I Hope this is helpful
shy talk. by the way the guy who runs D.M.G.R.S. is a genuine person if you have a problem with any of his products I am sure he will sort things out. shy talk

click the link and be amazed at the difference prices and I wonder if the insert can be used only, but as above I tend to stick to Genuine Bosch

I am a bit unsure of the state of my MAF but I may just change it anyway, all the other stuff has been done and there is no smoke or anything, just feels a little flat. At the last Nano the T4 (Testbook version 4.Computer Diagnostic System) was showing low reading on the MAF but not right down (AFAIK).

Anyone got any links to a cheap genuine MAF?

Cheers,

Dave :-)

Hi Dave.
No real genuine MAF is going to be really cheap this is the one I and most have bought, make them an offer as I did of £120 came back at me with £125, but note that the number does relate to the brit car ones

There is this one also from them, but whom is willing to take the chance on it to see if it works as good and if it lasts as good, I suppose one of us will eventually ?

The above MAF which was being sold as had some returns, so as always better to stick to the Bosch I got mine from the link below, made an offer and was accepted, I do note though that it also as the land Rover (MHK101130)which matches those on (http://www.brit-car.co.uk/) buy genuine and buy once is the best moto

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-MH ... 0084.m1843

This quote from their listing on the bay
This mass airflow sensor(MAF) is a genuine German manufactured product by Bosch.
It is new and unused and it comes with the original Bosch box.

(You will get an invoice and 2 years of guarantee.)this part of the sale as got to be good

It is not a low-cost, inferior replica which is often sold on the internet.
