Thinking of fitting a black expansion tank on my 2004 tourer,I like the look.I have have manage to get hold of one but do not know what this is for on the bottom of the tank, enclosed a photo.

Any help much appreciated

Hi Les.
It was supposed to be where the level warning sensor would have been fitted but Rover never followed it through ? Arctic
