I think, for the buyer of this:

Laptop is worth half that at most, and without the box and cables, it will do nothing. It's not even up to date.

Hi Duncan

lets hope whoever makes a bid understands half the kit is missing. Would it help anyone who already has a T4 (Testbook version 4.Computer Diagnostic System) but it's faulty? NB I'm not biding just interested.

Not really helpful to owners either, as you can install the software on any laptop. So although if the T4 laptop died this could replace it, so could just about any older laptop, just like I've used a touchscreen one.

If it were a lot less, then maybe.

It's not possible to say if it does have the cables needed (well the red adapter specifically), but the listing says they are there for the 75.

There are two issues, though. These are slower than a slow thing on a go-slow. I do have one but it's so painful, it takes about fifteen minutes to boot, and needs reboot quite a lot. The other is they are getting old and reliability will start to be an issue. With a T4, the computer can be easily replaced if it fails. These T1 machines have odd things like SCSI CDroms and they are not straightforward to replace. I had one with a dead CDrom, and had to muck around with windows on it before it worked. Shortly after, the screen failed. Using them in all but the fairest condition would only hasten that demise.

EDIT: With all the cables it has, it might be of use to someone to extend the kit for a T4. However in case anyone wonders, you couldn't use it to 'make' a T4 because the main interface box isn't there. It's built into the PC part on these and can't simply be removed and connected to a laptop.
