***In the contraflow (M1 going North) lane that crosses over the Central reservation. a car had stopped with steam coming out from under the bonnet.. thus trapping about 300 cars behind him!!! So be warned, DON'T take the single lane crossover!!! Luckily it had backed up so far I was unable to get into it and had to wait for someone to "let me in" to the middle lane again... :roll:

I always use the contraflow lane as we restrict the width of vehicles that can use it to 6'6", and in the event of a breakdown you can nearly always get by.

heh heh.. Nope, it looked like one of the older med size Fords.. :roll:

The blocked lane was several miles long, with the breakdown somewhere near the middle I think, must have been a right ole job getting a breakdown truck to it.. :confused:
