We had our BT Infinity installed last night and wow what a difference in speed;
We were getting 4.60mb/s download & 0.87 mb/s upload, now its 73.09 mb/s download & 15.63 mb/s upload :)

If you use a proxy you can boost your upload to 50mb/s!

That's roughly double what we get from ours! :hail:

However, as I live in a Village in Rural Lincolnshire, I'm quite happy with 38 meg download and 8 meg upload! :)

The download suffers slightly, however on newsgroups its about what BT advertise anyway. If I turn the proxy off it returns to normal speeds advertised by BT
