Both optical drives have vanished * Now solved* by raistlin

Help please...

Neither of my optical drives (DVDRW) are visible to Windows 7 applications or Storage Manager.

Device manager sees them but produces the following error message:-
Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)



Can anybody give me a clue how to fix please?
