I got a couple but too far away :(

I know it's a stupid question, but what concrete are you cutting? And why?

Don't forget that you can get diamond blades quite cheaply to fit 4.5" & 9" angle grinders.

I used an angle grinder with a diamond blade when I had to cut some - only had to cut two though

If you have an angle grinder, just get a diamond blade to suit.

I only have a 4.5" grinder Richard.

However, it looks like being a merely academic point now as the supplier has agreed to cut the gravel boards as required for no extra charge :)

Thanks for the ideas chaps :)

Good news that the supplier will do it for you.

But for future reference, a 4.5" diamond blade will cut 1.5" slabs without too much problem

Thanks for that info Richard :)

In fact, this has spurred me on to buying a 9" angle grinder as my trusty old 4.5" is staggering quite rapidly towards the end of its life :)

Before you go and buy one, I have one looking for a good home.

Used once.
