Thanks Paul, what a fantastic layout, as David says the level of detail is incredible.

Thoroughly enjoyed looking at that! The realistic 'griminess' and look of neglect is superb, and I imagine very difficult to get right - particularly liked the rust stains on the bridge stanchions.

Thanks

Another thread on that site I have yet to go through - I'd seen your username and thought...I wonder if thats the Raistlin I "know".....but now I do know!! My username over there is Bulldog btw....

Anyway....now I know whose brain I can pick :twisted:

I've yet to start on mine - just been clearing the loft in readiness to start construction of the baseboard, meanwhile I am gathering stock at an alarming pace. Alarming to my wallet that is :lol:

They are a bit erm... precious about initial usernames. If it looks remotely like a bot-generated name it'll be binned although, once you get in with a basic username you are at liberty to change it.

Having spent most of the day, on and off, looking at your layout and getting sidelined to others in the links, far from being inspired I have come away quite depressed, as I know that I cannot achieve anything like it. Plus, anything less will just not do. :(
I don't like signatures, they take up too much screen space.

@Andy - Thank you kind sir :)

@Bernard - Why could you not Bernard. My layout, like most, started with a bit of track and a locomotive... and some imagination. Next time you're in the vicinity, by all means pop in and have a look (and a listen) :)

Thank you Paul. I most likely will do that.
