I've just completed the oil and filters service on VeeKay.

Unfortunately, the only way to get the pollen filter replaced is to remove the ECU (Engine Control Unit), which also allowed me to have a good look at the plenum chamber. I found one or two interesting items in there :lol:

I also found a lot of dry debris and this is where I think I went above and beyond... I got the Vax out and actually vacuumed the plenum chamber. I must be mad :lol:

Go on then - tell me you all do that anyway :)

No, not above and beyond.... I would do the same :thumbsup:

I have actually been known to vacuum the decking :gmc:

Dry debris would inevitably become a soggy mass over time and clog up your hole, so to speak. ;)
My weapon of choice would be SEBO. :)

Yes once a month hoover the plenums out not an oil change :lol: :lol: you only need to take the manifold off now and give that a good scrubbing inside and out but remove MAP sensor before doing so :thumbsup:
