2001 Rover 75 2.0 CDT Rear Shock Absorber by Donald MacIver

Donald MacIver
I am on the hunt for a rear shock absorber for my parent's Rover 75, one of the shocks has started leaking, but the other is fine. Can't really justify spending £140 on a new pair at the moment, so if anyone has a single shock that they are looking to part with, give me a shout.

Many thanks,
Donald

Do not fit one fit a pair - they are safety critical items.

There are some pairs of secondhand ones on ebay - also think there are sone new ones at about £140 a pair

As Paul has said these are safety critical items that should always be replaced as a pair.

Is it worth the possibility of a serious accident in order to save some of the £140?
