Family Court is more relaxed than Criminal Court with fewer formalities and the emphasis is always upon the two parties arriving at a mutual solution if at all possible and to this end, they are given considerable latitude to make comments and express themselves, at times, quite forcibly.
The husband, in this case, made a suggestion regarding how the custody of the child could be negotiated. The wife, finding no merit in the argument, replied with:-
"You'll have to go through me first!"
To which the husband relied, in a quiet and measured tone, "I'd better join the queue then."
