ZTT Driver's Side Rear Door Card by DaveyC

I've got a problem with the rear diver's side door card on my ZTT. The metal strip that runs along the top edge has corroded very badly and is coming apart towards the rear of the door. As a result, the door card rattles and is as annoying as hell.

Does anyone have a decent one I could have cheap please? I'm going to the Nano, so could pick it up from there, if that helps.

Cheers,

Dave :-)

Hi Mike,

Its the alloy strip at the top of the door card that butts up to the inside of the door glass. This has blown on mine and not only looks awful but rattles.

Cheers,

Dave

Hi Dave,

I think you mean the inner waist seal which is illustrated in the photograph below at the bottom edge of the white boxes.

ImageIf it is rattling I can only suggest that the seal has rusted through towards the rear, unless the rattling is coming from the door lock mechanism.

Cheers

Hi Dave,

just a little tad of rust there, this was mine:

The photo in my previous post shows the seal replaced with a LWB seal as the Tourer offside seals are NLA.

I am working on a 'how to' to put up here.

That one is no longer available for the driver's side.

I think like Mick says the only option is to mod one from the LWB?

Item 12 here? http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID001789

Mick, if you could let me know if this is correct and I can order myself one.

Cheers,

Dave

Dave,

Rimmers charge a fortune in shipping, someone near to Rimmers might be coming to the Nano-meet next weekend and could bring the parts.
