Windows 7 - wassup? by raistlin

Windows 7 seems to have taken it into its head to start acting the pratt.

"Audio service not working" and the associated troubleshooter "unavailable"

"Not enough free memory" errors on several Windows functions including Control Panel

System Restore "Not functioning".

I get the same errors in safe mode as well.

Any ideas please?

Do you have (you probably do, though) sufficient free hard drive space - or moreover, does Windows think you have sufficient hard drive space. Are all your memory modules working correctly too? Could be why your experiencing symptoms relating to hard drive space?

Thanks Simon, All RAM passes all memory stress testing and HDD space isn't a problem with some 4TB still available.

I've given up now and re-installed Windows :(
