Which 2 DIN radio by PaulT

Any views on whether to go for the Chinese unit designed for our cars or a different double din unit?

Thanks

I think you will find that the double dins supplied by Sean (Radioguy) are well regarded both here and over on the Club site.

Ouch - just seen the base price on Seans website - $568 which equates to about £355 before adding any goodies.

Just looked at a spreadsheet where I costed one when they first came available:

Base unit $345
DVB-T $45
TMC $40
Transfer Fee £25
P&P $86

Making a total in GBP of £371.31

I suggest you contact him through this website - his prices may be better.

He also does second-hand units.

Hi Paul

Mine Includes the Transport and the Transfer fee.

The total delivered with DVB-T is approx £416.00

We offer members this guarantee and we are good for it !
We accept Paypal or Bank transfer. Also can accept Moneybookers

Our Warranty Policy is this:

Within the first 7 days after receipt (When most defects show up) we will pay shipping costs in BOTH Directions. to replace or repair. As you can see here we are responsive and will support any and all problems and questions as best we can. So it is important that you install and test and fiddle with it fast ! We bench test every units functionality prior to sending. This can take us 2-3 days depending on the order load.
From 8-30 days You pay return shipping and we pay shipping costs to return it to you after warranty is determined and it is repaired.

Especially that Unit Paul, It is from a Chinese supplier that is not quite "Conscientious" lets say
