About a month ago I took a call at work from a friend of mine in the trade who enquired "If a job came up would you be interested?" to which I said I would be. Well yesterday I got another call from him & he told me things had moved faster than he thought & that job had come up so I arranged to go & see him tonight after work & basically the job was mine...........here's the but, the rate of pay was even worse than mine & the travelling would be more than double the distance & in peak times on the A1 aswell 
so I guess I'm stuck where I am for now
