Walking "app" for Windows Mobile by Dave

Saw an app on the Gadget Show last week (mmmmm, Suzi Perry) called "Viewranger" which allows you to plan walks and shows maps, positioning, even photos of where you are

Sounds great for our dog walks, with two problems

1) Not available for Windows Mobile
2) Blooming expensive per map!

Anyone know of anything similar which is cheaper (or free!!!)

ROFL

The AA do a series of walks which come in a ring binder and with a waterproof wallet to put each map in.

But for a windows mobile device - am not sure.

Come on - this is 2010. Maps are so last century!

We are not Ramblers, but would like something to refer to if we got lost or fancied straying off the beaten track!

Memory Map, uses Ordnance Survey maps, and I think has terrain mapping. Certainly used to work with windows mobile. Worth a look:

I still love this marque and I will still be around, preferred selling to breaking, as a great runner and performer"
