"My lovely car now sold onto a very happy new owner.
I still love this marque and I will still be around, preferred selling to breaking, as a great runner and performer"

Hmm... that was interesting :)

After long and arduous training sessions, I now know the difference between a blended scotch and a single malt

I have the brother-in-law to thank for that. He might decide that it was a mistake ;)

How did you get to such a great age in ignorance of such knowledge? :gmc:
I don't like signatures, they take up too much screen space.

Or, for that matter, to a position of such influence?

No matter. It's resolved now.

So, do you have a favourite yet? Just last week I finished a nice Macallan. It's a shame it doesn't mature once in the glass or I'd have been drinking a forty year old.

I do have a few bottles of things to sample that are so old they are pre barcode. Unfortunately only the one was a nice malt!

Based upon initial testing ;) Talisker and Tobermory, with Glenmorangie as runner up.

OK, add The Macallan to my list. Specifically the 18 year old :D A friend gave me one of these last night... then he told me how much it costs per bottle :( 'Twas wondrous though
