Does anyone know the difference between these please?

There's quite a big price difference with the ZT/75 being cheaper. Does the MGR one open at a lower temp perhaps?

The large connector facing on the 75 one incorporates an O ring, I cannot tell you if they operate at different temperatures.
I purchase the complete kit from this firm. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-NEW-R ... 4850e35f5d
The item is listed as 2.0ltr but it fits all the V6 derivatives

Doh! Obvious looking at it now Mick.

The engine seems to run hotter too in the Freelander, fan kicks in at 109C as shown by the Torque App on the 'phone and confirmed from what I've seen on the Landy forums.

Do not categorically not use a LR stat. Apart from the ones I have seen use quick fit connectors your car will overheat.

Now that's very interesting. I have a Hippo V6 so assume you mean not to use a Hippo stat in a ZT/75 V6? What would happen the other way round? Would the Hippo run cooler?
