**URGENT HELP PLEASE** strut top bearing by loz1971

I got the spring off the car ok, but now don't seem to be able to compress it enough to get it all back together, is there something I'm doing wrong??

Really need urgent help with this!!

It can only be you havent "grabbed" enough of the spring with the spring compressor. Usually when you compress the spring you simply swap the tops whilst it is compressed. Set the compressors as far open a they will go and close them up evenly. It is best to have three spring compressors but they are sold in pairs :confused:

Cheers Dave, the only solution was to buy another set of spring compressors, typical!! and the missus isn't at all happy, but I don't care, it's done now and I'm getting in the bath!! :D :D :lol: :lol:
