This may upset some but, say what you think Dave.

Raffle is fine but standing around for 30 mins to an hour whilst somebody enjoys the limelight speech making and then endlessly producing raffle tickets for quite a lot of things that nobody really wants is not for me, I for one would rather donate a small amount to allow somebody to purchase 1 or 2 really nice things for a prize.

There, said it. Having said that i will be able to find a pre decimal coin holder or a copy of windows 95 to donate :D :D :D

Sorry, ;) but you get my drift i hope :)

Actually Dave thats a very good point, then if we have a raffle it could be over and done with in about 15 mins.

You need a lot fewer but decent prizes and it could all be over in 5 minutes and no speeches. :o :D

That needed fixing. :)

Raffles were always a bone of contention with me. Poncing freebies of folk to fill the coffers of the OC from ticket sales. :censored:
