Throttle body by Zeb

Can I get away with not removing the throttle body during the removal of the transmission or is that a false economy?

Barring this, am now ready to disconnect and remove the transmission... :?

I'd do it to improve access, if I were you.

Yes...although the g/box is going to come out the bottom..so was kind of hoping to leave it...hmmm...you are right about access though..(Not intending to remove the subframe if I can avoid it!)

I handled the gearbox with a hoist from above, and I'm fairly sure the TB would have been in the way of that. There's a loop cast into the top of the box for that purpose. You should be able to see if the TB is in the way, and remember how far to the nearside the box will need to move for the input shaft to clear the pressure plate.
