I have given up on the idea of a fully OEM installation of Smart Nav on VeeKay so I bought a brand new retail Smart Nav kit from fleabay.

Only cost me Â£60. First thing I noticed is that it also includes a year of free nav, which I was expecting to pay Â£130 for... Bonus :lol:

Now all I have to do is work out how to fit it. Might be a little beyond my ability

Its possible to wire the oem switch to the smartnav. Thats about the only thing that will make it an oem install. look into getting the touchscreen as I thought it made the unit 100x better.

In fact, it is a fairly modern unit David and doesn't have a facility to use the switch. Only the touchscreen provided.

I used one of the hidden style mounts by the side of the CC unit.
