I have given up on the idea of a fully OEM installation of Smart Nav on VeeKay so I bought a brand new retail Smart Nav kit from fleabay.

Only cost me £60. First thing I noticed is that it also includes a year of free nav, which I was expecting to pay £130 for... Bonus

Now all I have to do is work out how to fit it. Might be a little beyond my ability :(

Its possible to wire the oem switch to the smartnav. Thats about the only thing that will make it an oem install. look into getting the touchscreen as I thought it made the unit 100x better.

In fact, it is a fairly modern unit David and doesn't have a facility to use the switch. Only the touchscreen provided.

I used one of the hidden style mounts by the side of the CC unit.
