Any recommendations as to which to buy, I don't want to spend a fortune, but also don't want to buy some that will kill me!!

It's strut top bearing time!! :? :? :?

I've never been completely happy with either of the two sets I have. One is the Halfords set, the other syke pickavant.

The big problem is they tend to slip around to one side of the spring, even if you have four spaced evenly when you start. I've managed OK but had a twitchy ring every time.

I recently saw these:

and think they are a lot but should be massively safer. Depends how much you might use them in the future.

The Snap-On ones seem to be highly recommended and are the ones I have use of.

I still love this marque and I will still be around, preferred selling to breaking, as a great runner and performer"
