]Sadly its time to sell my 75,year 2000 w reg. due to having to take another job, and we can no longer afford to run two cars. its been a great car and its given me no problems at all . its just passed mot 14/5/2011. it needed track rod end, and brake pipes front to rear. it has mgzt front bumper, wheels, rear spoiler fitted , sandstone electric leather , with encrested headrests . mgzt new springs , had shocks last year. recent new oil cooler fitted and pcv filter air intake mod , clean egr, and oil change. it also has a synergy 2 fitted . plenums all clean and mod done. great paint work , the odd age related stone chip here and there but very straight. its done 125000 miles but engine is really smooth its a peach. no oil leaks or leaky intercooler rings. Also new key, it really is a great looking tidy car, painted in zircon silver which drives very strong. It has service history up to 91000 miles then done by my father there after,a fully trained mot tester ... this would make someone a great car if well looked after for many years to come , and i hope it can go to a good home.. anymore info you can pm me , or email me at jimsmith200144@yahoo.co.uk or tel 07722849286. . ps i will email pics if anyone wants them . no scuffs to bumpers , and no curb damage to wheels . this car is very tidy indeed and is well worth £1200 . mot may 2012. well it looks like i will be keeping the 75, as all i have been offered for it up to now is £1200. which is not good saying the condtion of the car. i was offered £800 for my partners ford ka on a v reg which is a bog standard model . is a rover 75 only worth £400 more than a ka  prices are all over the shop :-? think people just want everything for nothing nowdays. there are plenty of other cars on the ebay now that are wanting alot more money, and are not in the same condtion as my car , whats going on

I echo your opinion on keeping the car rather than letting it go for a pittance. Can't ever see me selling mine.

yes mick, it seems silly to let it go for just over a grand , to let someone else get a dam good car and leave myself out of pocket. i mean come on , it would break for a grand , engine gearbox £500 , synergy 2 £100 mg front bumper , all have sold for £200 complete on ebay. then wheels £150 . seats £80 . then theres panels steering wheel and loads of bits and bobs. crazy baby....

Saw a 2001 diesel saloon on forecourt today 112000 miles good nick for £1195
with the way prices are dropping I think you will be very pushed to get over £1000 at the moment I'm afraid.
Keep or break it if you must, hope you can sell but with 11 year old cars getting difficult to shift I'm afraid.
John

"My lovely car now sold onto a very happy new owner.
I still love this marque and I will still be around, preferred selling to breaking, as a great runner and performer"
