Replacement body panels by Bermudan 75

Recently I went up to Saltburn-by-the-sea to see John of MG Rover Breakers who had 2 JGA Odyysey Blue saloons in his yard.

As a few of you are no doubt aware, the laquer coat on my bonnet was lifting and the nearside front wing had some rust where it meets the bumper.

John helped me to replace the bonnet on my car and loaded a replacement wing and spare door into my Tourer.

John joined the Community (mgrover-meercat) once I told him about what a good bunch you all are.....

I still love this marque and I will still be around, preferred selling to breaking, as a great runner and performer"

Think he may have had a couple of silver 75s might be worth dropping him a pm.

I am very happy with what I got for my car from him, and his local pub on the sea front does a nice pint of real ale.

Often wondered about buying used panels (thankfully not because I need any but does the colours match? Do some fade out a bit with age, was every car produce over a period exactly the same shade etc?

My car a Mk1 was built Sept 2003 and the donor cars were 2004 Mk2s, no obvious difference in the shade of colour.
