I need to remove the Kenwood radio from a 2004 Astra but I don't have the 'shims' to enable me to do this. Does anyone know how to remove it?

(There are times when I wish I was still living in Salford, evey 5 year old could remove a radio in seconds)

Does it have the four round holes? If so the inside of a biro is just right.

Sorry Duncan, does not have the holes because it is a Kenwood unit, my mistake and no biro holes.

some of these radio's can be removed with strips cut from an old credit card .....

Managed to do it, used the shims from my JVC unit plus a little force.
