Here are some prices I got back from an on-line parts dealer for some replacement headlights, if I can't clean mine, unless you drive to each scrap yard you can not tell the good ones from the rubbish, here are the three quotes.

Yours WILL clean, M3 do a headlight cleaning kit with drill attachment for around £20, or you can by your own abrasive and it's even cheaper.
£100 for a pair of facelift headlights is an absolute gift ;) (if they are facelift)

Thanks for the info, think I will try the clean it myself option first, I just wish there was a way to do it without removing the whole damn front end, I did the outside with toothpaste came up a treat.
