Power steering leak/alternator problem by Sparky

Sparky
Anyone know if the PS pump leaking is a common fault? Looks like it's leaking from behind the pulley. I've paid the price for not jumping on this straight away as my alternator seems to be fried too. Dash now showing "charge fault". Any fixes on the database anywhere (well used to getting my hands dirty, but not for a while)? Any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Not heard of PAS pumps leaking. Oil certainly does for alternators though.

Have a nearly new alternator in my Garage, just haven't put it up on EBay yet.
I got it for my car but in the end mine wasn't faulty. Dooh.

I still love this marque and I will still be around, preferred selling to breaking, as a great runner and performer"

Sods Law states get rid of it and yours will go.

Keep it John. They die even if you are careful with oil. Mine did a couple of years back.
