I'll do a "How-To" when I get the time but it's really a very simple mod to do, with only 7 wires to connect and those are all within the driver's door cavity.

This is the way that the powerfolds should have worked in the first place, in my opinion, and I am very pleased to have been able to assist in the development.
I don't like signatures, they take up too much screen space.

Paul I have read that the powerfolds have plastic cogs that wear out - not wishing to pour cold water on your project, which is sensible, but is there a danger they will wear out if they are folding each time

Great news Paul and thank you Bernard for allowing us all to benefit by being said Guinea Pig! :-)

I've got powerfolds already fitted but like the idea of being able to do it without altering the switch pack. Depending on when it is, could this be done at a Nano? :-D

It takes about 30 minutes I would say Jake so eminently "doable" at a nano-meet.

Afraid not Andy. I need somebody to go through the fitting process and take some photos actually. ;)

I can soon write something up though as it is only connecting seven wires.
