My NAS is complaining that my storage is nearing capacity so I've had to buy a pair of 2TB drives.

This leaves a pair of WD Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB drives up for grabs.

No more than 4 months old, these drives are the fastest I've ever seen in RAID configuration. In my view, far outstripping my Samsung and Barracuda drives for sheer performance.

THIS is the beast.

Anybody want the pair for £70 (plus postage, or collect, or can bring to July nano-meet).

I'd prefer they went as a pair Mick. Perhaps you need two caddies?

These drive are, I feel, at their best in a RAID array.

Nobody wants a pair of fast drives then?
