Hi all. Just aquired one of those inspection/oil service reset gizmos with a multi-point connector on the end. Looks like a scart plug. The blurb says 'connect to OBD2 unit'. Where might that be? Looked in the fuse box under the stairs etc. but can't find anything to mate it with.

Thanks takestock, that was mighty quick. That's my Saturday morning get-out-of-Tesco's taken care of.

I'd photo it and attach but camera is gravid or hypertensive or something. However, if you tap in item 170454671729 on ebay you'll get it. Did it today (again thanks to takeaway - I still think it was quick) in two minutes. Looks very simple kit but works. Bit like me. Good value and arrived next day. There was no instructions so I had to 'enlarge' the photo on ebay. I'd just done a service and the display was getting me down.

I can remember when these were quite expensive, cheap as chips now.

I still love this marque and I will still be around, preferred selling to breaking, as a great runner and performer"

Right, if I solve my coolant problem and keep the 75 I'll get myself one.

Does it read the codes or just reset the lights?
I would like one that does both, If this one doesnt then is there one that could be recommended?
I have a 2001 CDT, i have a code reader for my 98 corsa but the software on the laptop is just for vauxhall, could I just get the software for the Rover? If yes any recommendations on which? and from where?
Thanks.
Malc.

Hi Malc.
That is just a service indicator reset. Someone that knows which code readers are available will be along, probably tomorrow now.
