Yes, they might get in way but it's nice to know that it's there "just in case" ;) One of those items that if you've got every other accessory then you might as well have a drivers-side cup holder too :D

What impressed me was the rear seat passengers get four cup holders, two in the seat and two in the arm rest!

I thought they were only fitted so they could sell the car in the US where they need to stuff their faces even when driving.

Surely no one on the UK would want to do this!
