Not a fan of Krap Fit, but my usual mobile air con specialist has ceased trading so was wondering if anybody could recommend the above for their air con service please?

A bit variable by all accounts. I have used them, but they failed to prove on both occassions that the aircon was any colder, in spite of the 'don't pay if it's not colder' guarantee. Still had to pay though. In the first case it was fair, as the system was in fact empty.

Got mine done with them...made an improvement....cheaper if you do it via booking online...£29.95 iirc?

I measured the temperatures at the vents on the way home tonight and got 4.2 degrees so perhaps I don't need it doing this year?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. 4.2 of anyones money is cold air.

Kwitfit did my 190 when I had it and when the measured the temp it was 4 degrees so I doubt you'll get any improvement on your 4.2

Took my old car to them once, they charged it but said 'no charge' as it was no colder.

Took it to a specialist I had used before and he charged it and it was cold, but he did comment that perhaps they had left the 'Econ' selected as there were no problems with the system.

When it needed charging again took it to Kwik Fit with the Econ button selected.

Same result, no charge as it is no colder. Drove off, pressed the Auto button and nice cold air came out.

Result I thought AND, if they cannot train their operatives correctly then tough luck to them.
